The story behind ZichtKlik

The idea behind ZichtKlik came about quite simply. How do you give a magnifier a fixed place on something you already carry with you anyway? The answer was in our pocket: the smartphone. Click it off, read the small print, click it back on. No flat battery, no complicated app to open and focus, simply no fuss. Pure, scratch-resistant optical glass and the strength of a simple magnetic MagSafe connection.

My name is Floris Singeling, the founder and driving force behind this company. As a student of Entrepreneurship & Commerce in Breda, I was given the assignment to set up my own "school enterprise". Where many assignments like that end up as a theoretical plan in a drawer, I wanted to create something that genuinely adds value in practice. I have always had an enormous drive to build something independently and to come up with a tangible, clever solution to a real problem.

What began as rough sketches on paper soon grew into a serious mission. I spent nights thinking about the design, the attachment system and how robust the materials needed to be. With the help of experienced product developers and patent specialists, I transformed the original concept into an officially patented, hard-wearing product. It is wonderful to see how a simple idea that started in a classroom is now actually being produced to help people.

With ZichtKlik I want to prove that the best technological solutions are often the simplest ones. My goal is to give people back their visual independence, so they can head out again without a second thought. Never forget your glasses is therefore not just a line on our packaging; it is the promise that from now on you have everything clear in one click.
